Silver mylar letter balloons hang on the side of the dark gray building and read “DISABILITY PRIDE”. Large planters and a couple of small trees line the concrete landing. An A-frame chalkboard reads “Accessible Entrance” with an arrow pointing to the right.” A few orange cones are set around the concrete area. Pop up tents line a raised patio area in the background.

6:00 pm
Everybody’s body is different and that’s why everybody’s Yoga practice is different!
Yoga is essentially an extremely subtle science which focuses on bringing harmony between the mind and body through breath work. It is an art and science of healthy living. The word “Yoga” means to “join” or “unite” and hence the practice unites breath with movement, not necessarily big movement, to move energy. This work creates an "inner alchemy" within the body to improve physical, mental, and emotional health.
Join MARKA DANIELLE for an Accessible Yoga class at our Disability Pride Finale Celebration at 6pm.
Feel free to bring a Yoga mat, a chair (if it’s a folding chair, make sure it won’t collapse please) or come in your wheelchair or with other mobility aids. There will be exercises for everyone, including for the face!
We hope to see you there!
